1948 Westinghouse model 501. Like it’s older sibling, the H-125/6, it shares the nickname “Refrigerator” due to their shape. The unique cabinet design allows it to be hung against a wall by its rear panel hooks, stood vertically or horizontally on a table. The cabinet has been refinished in an original turquoise colour. Aux input cord added so you can play music from your phone, audio player or Bluetooth module. You will also have the option, at checkout, of an FM module that will allow you to listen to FM stations on it.
All radios for sale by The Retro Radio Shop have had a thorough assessment and electronic refurbishing. All out of spec tubes, resistors and capacitors replaced.
